    For all you 409 nuts out there, check out this 1951 Henry J. This car was completed 2 years ago, after being in storage for 15 years. Car has placed 1st at car shows. Presently a racecar, could be made streetable. This car is one of the fastest 409 powered cars still running competitively in the country.
    This NHRA legal supergas car turns consistent 9.60's at 140 mph. The chassis is a 2x3 mild steel certified to 7.50 et.  Bill Lucky racecars of Chicago custom fabricated the car from a Morrison supercar kit.
   The wheelbase has been extended 4in. to 104in. The top has been chopped 2in. Strange struts, coilovers and discbrakes front and rear. 1951 body was originally fron California. Car was dipped, has Arizona quarters. Frontend is A1 fiberglass modified to 3 pieces; comes off as unit or hood only. Aluminum work and anodizing in interior. Drive train: engine - 496 cubic in. 409, bored .120 over. Stroke 1/2 in. Crank and rods: billet Crowers. Pistons: Venolia 13 to 1. Block filled with hardblock. Heads: Joe Sherman prepped, 583 castings, stainless valves, Vasco springs. Crower roller rockers, 7/16 studs. ISKY roller cam, .676 lift, 320 duration. Mallory unilite distributor. Fresh rebuild on springs, bearings, and rings this spring. Transmission: TSI full race turbo 400, reverse valve body, 8-3/4 turbo action converter, cheetah shifter, transbrake. Driveshaft, spool 456 gears: Mark Williams. Olds/Pontiac 35 spline rearend. Dual Interstate batteries. Holly annihilator ignition system. Power windows, autometer gauges, playback tack, arc control module, Barry Grant fuel pump, Crager superlites with m/t frontrunners, 15x14x31-1/2 Goodyear slicks. Paint: Sikkens polyurethane black cherry and maroon.
