Here is another purchase that I have made from Ebay. This one is a 1952 Allstate that was sold by Sears and Robuck. Most of the original
car is here but??? There are some glaring problems and some parts that have
been changed or are missing. |
For the most part it looks good but the floors are gone
real bad!!! The mat covers the pop rivited sheet metal over the bad floor, its
repairable but needs total replacement. Engine ran good for about two seconds
then the fuel pump went out. I have had the car running since with a new fuel
pump. Engine needs a rebuild bad! I have also been able to drive this car,
no brakes, broken line. Rear emblem is glued on and it needs three tail lights.
Doors and Radiator support have been replaced. It may not look it but there
is RUST and so far I am not sure of any repair work. I would say that the overall
condition is Fair and repairable. Lots of work in store... |
