Vehicle Description

1952 Henry J Corsair

This is a Texas car. I bought from 1 owner - barn find.  I am not a Henry J guy, I am more familiar with older cars, but I will describe it as best I can, please email if you have questions or need more details.

The car is appears to be complete including drive train. The body is fairly straight. The hood has some corner cracking by the hinge mounts (probally due to almost froze hinges). The trunk lid just needs minor work. There is rust in at least 1 rocker, maybe both, not sure, but looks like it can be repaired. There is also rust in the front floor pans mainly near the doors, the center looks good. The trunk pan looks good. The interior is all there in it's original orange & alligator-style stock trim, including the door covers, it is worn. If you have any information about the orange and gator interior, please share it with us. The drive train looks old but not beat up. Rusty and dirty yes. No firewall abuse.

The old guy cannot find the title and said he would get another one. Hum, let's just say maybe. But I do have a signed bill of sale and a signed Texas title application. By the time this bid is up we might even have found the title. Vin # available if requested.

Thanks to a good e-bayer with good Henry J knowledge,  I found that this car is a 1953 (based on cowl numbers, hood ornament, and voltage regulator).  I also have the body #'s now.  The best I can tell they are   533-4-214-5510-34-1-2-36.  The engine is a supersonic - 4.  On the floor pan, there is considerable rust where the A pilar meets the floor.   Window glass: Front windshield has 1 good side (driver's side). Window glass: Drivers side have cracks on front & back, but wing window is good. Passenger window glass is good, including the wing.    I will contact the highest bidder to inform him of the changes.
