Set # 2  From Tommy

The first pic I'm sending is of a local car that was a street/strip car.  The guy that owned it was known for running a small block chevy that would turn 10 grand.  My dad told me that he usually ran a 5.38 or a 6.13 gear under it.  yikes!   The engine was set way back on this car.  The driver would sit in the original Henry J
back seat. This car now sits less than one mile from my house! The people that own it are fixing it up, its been off the strip for some time. So it's gonna be cool seeing it run again....!!!  The next pic comes from the guy I bought my Henry J from.   He said he remembered the car from when he was a kid.  He didn't have any info on it but I showed the picture to my dad and he knew about the car.   He said that the owner ran a rail dragster and for some reason there was a rule change in the class that he ran in, that required him to have a body.  So he put a Henry J body on the rail chassis.  From the picture you can see the zoomie headers coming out at the middle of the door.  The 3rd pic will be of a '51 that I could have bought a few years ago for $1,500.  Man, I shoulda bought it.  It was a super solid car.  You hardly ever see one that has rockers on it, still.   But I passed it up.    4th pic is of a car that was a little more pricey. It was $8,500.  It had a built small block chevy and was tubbed and all that.  A little too much for me to spend but a cool car. I didnt have a chance to buy this one but its an awesome car.   I saw it quite a few years ago.  I saw it at the shades of the past in Pigeon Forge, TN.  another car I saw in pigeon forge that I saw on your site was a super, super nice blue '51 with flames.   definately the nicest Henry J I've seen.
