They are insetting the rocker panels to allow the bottom of the doors to be lengthened down to where they will cover the rocker panels and eliminate the horizontal line that would normally be along the bottom of the door. I think this is a good look and it keeps the original lines of the car nice and clean. I will keep you posted as we are putting more time into the car now that some other cars have been completed.
