Stopped by to see the car this morning and took some pictures of the new door hinges that they are installing. The clearances were so tight with the original hinges once were got all the door gaps cleaned up and all the metal flushed out where the doors and fenders meet, (they never were very nice even when the cars were built originally) it just was too close the way the door opens inside the rear of the front fenders. It could have easily ruined an expensive paint job in that area. As you can now see, the doors swing outward at the front rather than inside the front fender. Costly thing to do but I think very necessary considering what I have invested so far.
