Flints 1951 Henry J

My dad (Butch Flint) bought it a few months ago. It has a very strong 383 Stroker with dual Edelbrock 650’s and a built TH400. It had a straight axle front which looked cool since it gave it the 50’s dragster stance, but we want to stop the involuntary lane changes every time we hit a bump on the highway! We had a Fat-Man (Mustang 2 style) front end installed on it. It was a chore due to the engine placement and had to heavily modified. We installed electronic power steering from Flaming River and finally found a set of heads that would allow the steering shaft through to the rack. We’ve installed the Fat-Mat and now we’ll work on glass and install an interior. I’m loving watching it come together and its turning into a fun little car to drive. We’re taking it to the Good Guys All American Get Together this coming weekend in Pleasanton.
