'51 Henry J for sale
Date: 05/09/2012

Older build on a very nice early 1951, no-trunk car. Done in mid-80's. '82 350/350. Pad numbers indicate its from 3/4 ton truck/van. Should be 4-bolt mains. Totally stock and running very well. Camaro rear with road gears. Typically 18-20mpg @65mph. Original seats (fold-down rear) with 80's colors/patterns. Good door panels and headliner. Has GM power brakes, power windows, hangdown (cold) air, and original (warm) heater. Nice tires with good tread, new rear brakes (all 4 drum), new dual exhaust with glass-pack mufflers, new alum. radiator. Appearance is traditional 20-footer. One cracked glass (driver door) and rear window is plexi. Wipers lights and signals all work properly (LED '50 Pontiac taillights). GM tilt column. What you see, is what you get. No spare parts, but spare parts are readily available. It is basically watertight, but not in a carwash. Drives really well. I have completed several extended trips of up to 800 miles troublefree. Have other interests, now, the only reason for selling. You know how rare it is and what the potential is. Or you could just drive and enjoy the fun as I have.  Very little to finish.  y. Great car, but not for you if you dont like attention---people will not leave me alone if I am stopped anywhere.  Check out the ones for $20-40k and then look here again. Near Dallas, TX. Fly in/drive home.  Thanks for looking. Steve
